On Saturday The Brewers are back in Emirates FA Cup action with a trip to NCEL Division One side Pontefract Collieries.
The two sides last met in the FA Cup back in 2011 with The Brewers winning 3-2, Jamie Hopcutt netting the all-important fifth goal.
After suffering relegation last season back into the NCEL Division One, Colls have made a promising start to life back at Step 6 recording two wins out of two.
They kicked off their league campaign with a 2-1 win away at newcomers Ollerton Town before beating Westella & Willerby 3-1 at the Nissan Stadium.
Ponte have also impressed already to get to this stage of the competition after seeing off two higher placed North West sides in Runcorn Town and Bootle, by no means an easy feat.
Pontefract may feel somewhat deterred by the fact that The Brewers have had no midweek game however, Colls won 5-3 away at AFC Emley on Wednesday night so they will be looking to carry the momentum and confidence over into Saturday.
Taddy saw off local rivals Scarborough Athletic in the last round of the competition with a sterling second half performance coming from behind to win 3-2.
The Brewers have also made an impressive start to the season, their first in the Evo-Stik, picking up seven points from the first four league fixtures.
When Tad visited Pontefract in the NCEL Premier Division last season it took the league leaders 88 minutes to break down Colls as Adam Baker powered home from inside the penalty area.
Team News: Manager Billy Miller will be able to welcome Jono Greening back into the squad for the first time this season.
Prediction: Pontefract Collieries 1-3 Taddy
