On Saturday Tadcaster Albion welcome Burscough to the i2i stadium as they look to bounce back after last week’s first home league defeat of the season.
The Brewers narrowly lost to Kendal Town last time out as Andy Milne’s header two minutes from time came too late on.
The Green Army travel to Yorkshire after a 3-2 loss away at Darren Kelly’s Hyde United last week, but there were signs of turning a corner.
Burscough were leading at the break but a goal a minute from time by Andrew Bishop continued their worrying start to the campaign and condemned them to their eighth defeat of the season.
Derek Goulding’s side currently prop up the Evo-Stik Division One North picking up just four points from their first 12 matches.
They are actually still waiting for their first win of the season as November looms, but they will by no means roll over on Saturday at the i2i.
A win for The Brewers could see them jump back up into a play-off place, but the three points would do more than that, it would also pick the spirits up after last week’s uninspiring display.
Team News: Goalkeeper Michael Ingham is ruled out with a foot injury, Josh Greening is rated 50/50, Gregg Anderson is ruled out after undergoing knee surgery and Josh Grant will be looking to keep his place at left-back after an impressive full debut.
