Tonight The Brewers welcome Glossop North End to the i2i stadium as they look to make it two home wins in the space of four days.
Saturday saw Taddy return to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Radcliffe Borough. Defeats against Farsley Celtic and Ossett Town in the FA Cup and league respectively were quickly put in the past after a convincing victory over Radcliffe on Saturday.
Taddy were back to their confident selves after two lacklustre uncharacteristic losses.
They looked confident and as fluid as ever in the first half with Josh Greening the stand-out. Last season’s top scorer hasn’t had the start to the season that all had hoped for but the skilful forward netted his second and third goals of the season to steer the Brewers on to the three points.
Glossop were tipped alongside Farsley Celtic as one of the clear favourites to push on up into the Evo-Stik Premier Division this season but currently sit just underneath Taddy in 10th place.
The Hillmen are coming into the contest on the back of back-to-back 2-2 draws against Droylsden and Kendal Town respectively.
Jamie Rainford is the leading talisman so far for North End netting four times.
Team News: Tom Corner is likely to return to the squad after a heavy fall last week at Ossett Town.
