After their game at Albion Sports was abandoned after 10 minutes last Friday through Fog, The Brewers return home on Tuesday evening against Handsworth. The two teams have something in common as both have recently been badly beaten at home by Thackley as Handsworth went down 6-3 at home on Saturday, The Brewers going down 4-2 the previous weekend. The Brewers travel to Thackley this coming Saturday.

Last season, The home game at Tadcaster was won 5-1 by The Brewers, whilst the away game was also won 2-1 by us to complete the double.

This season, The Ambers are in 10th place with 20 points from 14 games played. That is 4 points ahead of Taddy but they have played 1 game less. The Ambers have been good on the road and have collected 13 points out of 18 away from home. However, their recent form has been average with 7 points from 6 games played. Striker Scott Ruthven is one to watch out for as he has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season to date.
