The Brewers conclude their NCEL season at home to promotion chasing Beverley Town on Saturday afternoon, 3pm. Their team is likely to include forward Elliott Andrew who joined them from The Brewers a few months ago. He has had a good season with 29 goals in all competitions, the majority for Taddy. The game at Beverley back in November was a weekend for horrendous weather and the home team came out on top by 4-2, Elliott Andrew getting both goals for The Brewers.

The form table based on the last 6 games shows the Brewers with 3 points and Beverley Town with 10. Away from home, Beverley have taken 18 points from 18 games played, the vast majority of their points this season have been won at home. However, they had a setback last weekend as they lost 4-0 at home to Penistone Church.

The Beavers have had a great season, their first in this division after promotion from NCEL 1 via the playoffs last season. They had only been in NCEL 1 for 2 seasons after moving up from the Humber Premier League where they had played for the previous 22 seasons.

They are currently in 5th position in the playoffs. The other teams in the playoffs battle are Hallam, Golcar United, Albion Sports and Thackley, so they should be very competitive in this game as they attempt to join NCEL Champions Silsden in the Northern Premier League East Division. A win would guarantee them a place in the playoffs. The final 2 play off positions are between themselves, Albion Sports and Thackley.
