We are pleased to announce that Luke Sharry signed for us yesterday.
The 32 year old midfield defender is well known to Craig Ogilvie and Neil Sibson having played for Yorkshire Amateurs for the last five seasons which included both promotion from NCEL Division One and more recently the NCEL Premier.
Born in Leeds, Luke has a wealth of experience to bring to Tadcaster He began his career as a member of Bradford City's youth team and made his senior debut for them in the Football League on 2 May 2009 in the final game of the season, against Chesterfield. After trialling with Grimsby Town, he signed for Guiseley in July 2010 but moved on to Worksop the following season.
Following spells with Garforth Town and Ossett Town, Luke spent time with Droylsden in January 2014, and then turned out for FC United of Manchester before moving to Frickley Athletic. He finished that season with Ossett Albion.
In July 2017 he moved to the “Ammers” and in his final season there, won many of the players awards going!
He joins us having signed for Eccleshill United this campaign but injury prevented him from playing for the “eagles” . He has now recovered and is raring to go
