Harrison (Harry) Sheppeard has returned to the Brewers after two years with Sheffield United. The full back was a regular in our Under 21’s team whilst at the i2i Academy and broke into first team three seasons ago before joining The Blades
Harry was a regular in the Sheffield United Under 23’s but was released at the end of last season having spent the last few months of his time there on loan with National North Guiseley.
21 year old York born Harry, is a former pupil at Archbishop Holgate's CE School
His arrival comes hot on the heels of that of 22 year old former Leeds United midfielder Romario Vieira, who again came through i2i before a short spell with us in 2016.
At that stage he was signed by Leeds joining his brother Ronaldo Vieira who was already a first team player at Elland Road, but released two years later, despite having impressed for their Under 23’s
The midfielder has represented his native Guinea-Bissau national team, and also holds Portuguese and English nationality. In recent times he has had to cope with a series of injuries but is now fit again and raring to go
Erico Sousa has left the club following an approach from National North Darlington. It was good to have him back for just three games and we wish him every success with his new club
