Midfielder Back for Second Spell with the Brewers

It is a pleasure to announce the return of holding midfielder and a previous player of the season, 25 year old Corey Roper.

Doncaster born Corey left the Brewers at the end of the 2019/19 season when an offer to test himself at Northern Premier League Whitby Town, proved irresistible, but increased work commitments and associated travelling have resulted in a welcome return to Tadcaster.

Corey joined Leeds United as a junior at the age of seven, going onto play for their Under 18 and Under 21 teams. In 2014 he signed with National League Wrexham for three seasons and then had his first spell with Taddy from 2017 – 2019. No sooner had he returned to Yorkshire than he was given the opportunity to coach at the i2i Football Academy where he is now the Head of Recruitment

Corey cannot speak highly enough of his year at Whitby but is excited to be back at the Global Stadium with fellow i2i men, Michael Ingham, Andy Milne, and Nelly Sanderson.

Welcome back Corey.
