We are delighted to announce that we have signed goalkeeper Gregory Hartley on a dual-registration deal from North West Counties side Atherton LR.
Hartley, 27, started his career at Manchester City as a youth before turning professional with the club.
"It's great to be able to help out a club with ambition for now and the future" said Hartley.
Following his time with the Sky Blues, Hartley headed Stateside to further his career and played semi-professional for seven years at Chattanooga FC in Tennessee.
On his return to England he signed for the Class of 92's Salford City before playing for Colne in the latter stages of last season.
Albion number one Michael Ingham is still side-lined through injury and may be out of action for a further four-six weeks.
Hartley's signing comes after a Doncaster Rovers keeper was injured in the week leading to Jones being recalled by the club.
Jones played four times in his short spell with the club and we would like to thank him for his efforts and Doncaster for allowing the player to help us out.
Hartley is set to make his Taddy debut tomorrow away at Droylsden (3pm).
