Tadcaster Albion is delighted to announce the signing of six-foot four striker Bailey Thompson. The 19-year-old joins us from Tranmere Rovers where he has been a regular member of the senior squad, although mostly on the bench last season.

Bailey has already had his fair share of Lancashire clubs in the various junior age groups having represented Bury and Accrington Stanley before turning out for Blackburn Rovers Under 15’s. At the age of sixteen , Bailey joined Everton’s Academy but quickly moved on a 2-year scholarship to Tranmere where he played for the Under 18’s. More recently there was a loan spell at Cammel Laird

He lives in Rossendale , Lancashire - well placed for most of our away matches!

Of his latest move, Bailey said

“I have really been impressed by Paul Quinn and his vision of the future at this Club. I am really looking forward to joining the other lads and cannot wait to start playing again”

Paul Quinn is equally happy with his latest signing.
