Attacking midfielder Alfie re-joined Taddy in September 2019. He began his career with Tadcaster's development team which earned him a move to Doncaster in 2016 where he played 50 times. The then-manager Darren Ferguson stated of the player: "ability-wise, he's got a hell of a lot".

He was released by the Rovers at the end of last season and had a spell in Norway before coming home to the Brewers

Since his return he has been ever present in the Tadcaster team - his reading of the game and ability to set things in motion from midfield has been invaluable and he leaves us with memories of his sublime ability and ball control.

Alfie has always given 100% and although we are sad to see him move on , he leaves with our thanks and best wishes on his return to the English Football League
