Promising youngster Pugh started out at Hull City as a scholar before finishing off at Doncaster Rovers.
Pugh went on to sign a professional contract at the Keepmoat, at a similar stage and age to former Albion youth team player Alfie Beestin.
Taddy boss Michael Morton has been full of admiration of the player for a number of years and is excited to pull off this deal.
“We are thrilled to get Joe to finally join us. He is an extremely talented striker who has a real eye for goal.”
“I’m looking forward to starting at Tadcaster” said the young forward.
Pugh continued by thanking his most recent club, “I would like to say a massive thank you to Housh and Stampy who were the former Ferriby managers for everything they’ve done for me.”
Whilst at Doncaster, Pugh had loan spells at Hyde United, Boston United and Frickley Athletic before moving to North Ferriby.
After a change of hands at the National League side, Pugh is now hoping to reignite his career with the Brewers.
“I’ve known Mikey and Si since I was a young lad and I’m sure they will aid my development as a player.”
“I am sure that I can bring goals to the team and hopefully kick start my career again.”
Welcome to Taddy, Joe!
